When Mama Prayed
When Mama Prayed was originally written as a poem by my father after his mother died. Some 30 years after her passing, while driving across the farmlands of Oklahoma to a family gathering, he was inspired to complete his thoughts and transpose the poem into this poignant song ~ I personally relate the song to my own Mother and both my Grandmothers ~ Through the years its message of faith and belief have ministered to the many hearts and souls of those who have heard it.

They knew God heard and He would answer
Because her faith in God was real and she believed
